This week we have a new round-up of books read and reviewed by Mommy and kiddo. The list here are from items borrowed but the LA County libraries, bought or given via the library summer free programs. As usual this week I have my book reviews, check it out if you are looking for some new books or just inspiration of what to read to your little one. I do borrow from 5-15 books weekly but with summer activities this season we have not been visiting the library twice or even once a week as usual. Once we are in Fall things will pick right up.
If you would like to know more about a book please message me and I will let you know more. I try not to spoil the story and let you know if it is more funny, themed, or life-lesson like. I hope you enjoy and read to your little one daily. Reading is so helpful to the development of your child.
Mommy Score: 4 Kiddo Score: 5
2. Maisy’s Sailboat by Lucy CousinsWhat book from Maisy isn’t great. Maisy is on a sailboat with all her great friends. My daughter and son love the images and love looking over the hard covers.

Mommy Score: 5!! Kiddo Score: 5
4. White Rabbit's Colour Book by Alan BakerThis is such a great book. I have bought 2 copies because the first was destroyed when my daughter went through her ripping pages phase. This has been that life saver book when my kiddo won’t sleep and each time he knocks out. It is so awesome my mom has extended the story of the White rabbit to his brothers and sisters.
Mommy & Grandma score: 5!!! Kiddo Score: 5
Let us know how you are spending your summer and if you have joined any summer programs in your area. We would love hear of any favorites too as we love reading in our household. If you have adult book recommendations that is great too. The love of reading definitely comes from this momma!
