We have been quite busy, I have not been able to write down a single thought these days. My daughters birthday was just a few weeks ago, with all the planning and errands it was too much.
On another note I wanted to share a thought on sharing your home with your in laws when you have children. My first experience was with both my parents and youngest sister. My father was a hoarder and due to the rats and mice that this brought on we had to move out and seek a different arrangement. It was nice at times to have someone watch my son, the only one at that time, if I needed a quick shower, to run to do laundry if he was napping or take him for a walk while I cooked but the negatives were weighing on me and angered me too much to keep at it. My husband was tried on this too and for him it was far worse since it wasn't his dad.
Our second move was with my mom and younger sister. This worked out better as my mom is extremely helpful. I don't have to take my kids, now two, to day care or wake them up for that routine. I am saddened both my parents can't enjoy my kids equally but this is far less stressful and more enjoyable for our household. My father now lives with another of my sisters who can cope with him better than I could. It does take a village to raise a child but be carefu
Mom of 2, love sewing, writing and freebies!
